Hello HN,

This is my first “real” programming project: homeassistant.koplugin

It's a plugin for KOReader[1]

I made it because I prefer reading on my e-reader without a phone nearby, yet I still sometimes need to tweak lights or other Home Assistant devices. So, out of that small “necessity,” the plugin was born.

I spent nearly as much time on the documentation as on the plugin itself. Both began far too verbose and complex, so I trimmed them down bit by bit.

  Features:
Control any number of Home Assistant entities from KOReader
  Basic service support (e.g. light/turn_on, switch/toggle, fan/turn_on)
  Lightweight, unobtrusive interface
  Simple text-based configuration
  Success/error notifications
