The Southern states see a lot less daylight change = they support. Northern regions, Canada/Europe find more utility. As a schoolboy London, UK, I went to school and came home in the dark on the shortest days - longest days dawn/dusk = I was asleep. As a kid, I paid no attention to DST etc - I was unaware.

I've been a perma-DST shill for decades and as soon as that becomes a possibility, my sleep becomes fragile.
Prioritizing sleep over late-day productivity lead me to realize that ST does a lot to support my circadian rhythms.
Apparently when it comes to timing, mine could use some work.
